FVV Group LLC, operating the Scooters Orlando brand ("Scooters Orlando", "we"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.scootersorlando.com, by phone and text message, how we use it and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and identity: name, email, phone number, country.
  • Reservation details: products, rental dates, hotel, resort or vacation home address, delivery notes and messages you send us.
  • Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers and receive only a confirmation and limited card details (such as the last four digits). Zelle payments are received through our bank.
  • Automatically collected: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and actions on the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
  • Content you choose to share: photos, videos and reviews.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Reservations must be made by an adult.

2. How we use your information

  • To confirm, deliver, pick up and support your rental
  • To process payments, refunds and fees under the Rental Agreement
  • To communicate with you by phone, text message (SMS) or email about your reservation
  • To send offers and news, only if you opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time
  • To measure and improve our website and advertising
  • To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate: our website and booking platform (Odoo), payment processing (Stripe), phone and text messaging, email delivery and our delivery staff
  • Advertising and analytics partners such as Google, as described in Section 4
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, for example in cases of theft of equipment
  • A successor business, if Scooters Orlando is sold or merged, subject to this policy

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, to remember your cart, understand how visitors use the site, and measure and personalize our ads. These partners may collect information about your activity on our site and other sites. You can:

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
  • Manage ad preferences at adssettings.google.com
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on

Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

5. Data retention

We keep reservation and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements (generally up to 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent to marketing, by calling or texting +1 (689) 287-9027. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:

  • California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information. You can opt out of personalized advertising as described in Section 4.
  • Visitors from other states and countries may exercise the rights to confirmation, access, correction, deletion and information about sharing by contacting us.

8. International visitors

Our services are provided in the United States, and your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on our website.
